One Piece (Anime Chapter 651)

Today I want to talk to you about the new One Piece chapter. If you do not want to be spoiled please stop reading. 
[SPOILER]:
Who: Rebecca, Toy Soldier (I won't talk about her mother)
When: After Doflamingo invaded Dressrosa and forced King Riku to give up his throne.
Where: Dressrosa
What happened: Rebecca and Soldier-san were forced to live somewhere else because Rebecca carries the blood of King Riku. Soldier-san raises her and acts as a father figure. He earns money to buy her food, presents, and clothes. Moreover he teachers her how to fight in case he will not be there when Rebecca is in danger.
My opinion: I really enjoyed watching this chapter because they showed their past. It is really cute how Soldier-san always protects her and earns money to buy her presents. He cares about her a lot as we can see in two scene: For example when the boy throws a ball against Rebecca's head and she starts crying, Soldier-san protects her. When another boy wants to give her a love letter, Soldier-san protects her as well. I also loved the scene when they are buying clothes in the store and he tries on different types of clothes. The panties part is so funny.
Will they join the SH?: I highly doubt that they will join the SH. If Luffy beats Doflamingo and the Dressrosa arc has a happy ending, Soldier-san and Rebecca will finally be able to live together without being in constant danger or without being seperated. I doubt they will think about joining a pirate crew because that would mean to say goodbye from one another. Perhaps King Riku will die in this arc and Rebecca will be his heir?

Sukitte ii na yo, Shingeki No Kyojin

Yesterday I spent a lot of time watching anime. I watched Sukitte ii na yo and Shingeki No Kyojin, also known as Attack On Titan. I've had lots of free time because I had done my homework before, so it was just a relaxing anime Friday. (^～^) I'm very excited to write about these two animes. Maybe I'll be able to convince some of you to watch them. 
On a sidenote: Don't read this blog if you don't want to be spoiled. 

Sukitte ii na yo [SPOILER]:

I haven't finished watching this anime yet but it's a cute anime about love and friendship. A-girl-who-is-anti-social-and-does-not-have-any-friends-meets-popular-guy-who-falls-in-love-with-her type of anime. It can be very cheesy and mellow, but it is just right for girls who love such stories. I'm one of them. Of course there are different problems that both have to overcome. For example the jealousy of other girls who want to be in a relationship with that popular guy. There are many lies and intrigues. Obviously there is also a transfered girl from another school who falls in love with the popular guy and does anything to become his lover, so the main character feels sad that he spends so much time with the transfered girl. Moreover the main character finally finds friends which she can trust and rely on. It reminds me a lot of Kimi ni Todoke. I think the people who enjoyed Kimi ni Todoke will also enjoy Sukitte li na yo. ^.~


Attack On Titan [SPOILER]: 

I don't even know where to start. This anime is really really good. I think it's just right for people who love blood and action. I haven't finished this anime either, but I'm definitely planning on finishing it soon. I really don't want to give away too much about it. It's about humans who live inside walls to protect themselves from Titans who eat humans. Of course the Titans manage to break the walls and then many people die. The main character loses his family and is determined to take revenge on the Titans and kill them all. He enlists in the military and successfully graduates. And then... well.. I won't tell you more. You got to watch it!! 

Not anime related: 
Finally it's weekend. I'm so excited because my best friend will come over today and we'll probably go shopping a bit!!

World Cup

Hello everybody ^~^
I know my blog is more directed towards movies and anime, etc, but I couldn't resist writing a blog about the World Cup. Well, it's every 4 years, so it won't hurt writing about it once or twice. 
First of all, I love the World Cup. It's so much fun watching it because families and friends get together and watch it. I live alone, so I've watched most of the games alone. Sometimes I had some friends coming over and we'd watch specific games together. It's really fun because we laugh, eat chips, drink, cheer. I can't wait to watch the knockout games.

This World Cup has been very crazy and different from the others that I'd watched. It surprised me a lot that countries such as Spain, England, and Portugal were kicked out before the knockout games. I thought they'd get at least into the quater-finals. Neither have I seen as many fouls as in this World Cup, or maybe I just had not paid enough attention before.

Today I read an article about Luis Suarez  being banned for four months for biting at the World Cup. I think he deserved it because it's not the first time he has done that. How does one just bite another player?? 

I hope you have as much fun as I have watching the World Cup. May the best team win!! o(≧∇≦o)

Sidenote: I'm sad about Japan losing.

Hello everybody! ^~^
This is my new blog and my first time blogging. I'm very excited to tell you more about my life, so I'll try to blog at least once a week. I hope I can keep my words!! 

On a sidenote: My blog might contain spoilers, so I'll put the "[SPOILER]"-tag before the spoiler.

What you should know about me:
I'm 21 years-old. I love books, movies, anime, manga etc. I'm a bit of a nerd. 

What I have done this week: 

This week I watched The Fault In Our Stars. What a great movie. I had read the book before and I had been very excited to watch the movie. The movie exceeded all my expectations because it was very close to the book. They almost quoted everything from the book. Shailene Woodley is an amazing and talented actress. She played Hazel so well. Thumbs up for Ansel Elgort as well. I imagined Gus to be more handsome, but Ansel convinced me with his acting. Pure magic. I cried during the movie as well as my friends. We weren't the only ones to cry though. I think the majority of the people who watched the movie cried. Once the DVD is out I'll buy it. I can't wait to watch it again. (๑>ᴗ<๑)

Today I read the new One Piece manga chapter (751). As you can already guess, because of my username (Monet), I'm a huge One Piece fan. The chapter was amazing.  [SPOILER]  I love how Oda portrayed Sabo and how he gave him the dragon claws. I wouldn't have ever imagined Sabo to crush Bastille so fast. I can understand now why he is among the top of the Revolutionary Army. I guess his power was taught by Dragon (indicated by Dragon Claw). The ending of the manga gave me the chills because of Doffy appearing inside the cave. I'm so excited to read next week's chapter. 

Moreover I finished watching Angel Beats. T~T I'm in love with that anime. It's about the after life, but I don't want to tell you too much. You'll have to watch it!! I recommend it. Currently I'm desperately searching for an anime which is similar to Angel Beats. If you guys can recommend any anime, I'll be happy to try it. For your information I already watched Clannad, Kanon, Air, so it's very difficult to find an anime like Angel Beats. 
Another anime that I tried yesterday was Attack on Titan because I'd seen many people liking it. I didn't think it would be this violent, but I really liked it. I'll probably watch it. Oh, and I gave Little Busters a try. It's very similar to Clannad, etc but I just can't get into the story. I like it on some levels, but on other levels it can be really weird. I'm not sure  what to think of it yet. However I'll watch more episodes and decide after that. 

By the way, I'm so glad that vacation are coming closer. I need a break from college although I'll have term papers to write, but at least during vacation I'll have more time for me and I can relax more.
